However, they are in excellent condition and should not need replacing for quite a while. The body is also in great shape with no major blemishes, only surface. The lenses and internal optics are as pristine, perfect and of the highest quality wonderfully clear. It weighs only 600gms and, thanks to the unique Uppendahl prism system, is a very slim and compact design. The rubber armour enhances the durability and the comfort in the hand. The Leitz 10x40B/BA is the most successful Leitz model, and this rubber armoured one the most sought after.
